Weddings

I simply love this Image of Amanda (one of Emma's school mates). This was a 1 second wonder-not the marriage-the photography. Amanda and the bridal party all stood under a huge Oak Tree, waiting to be announced to the family and friends and then enter the marquis tent. I turned to see them running-could not believe my eyes, the light peaking through the trees, just illuminated her radiant face, along with her new husband. I grabbed my camera-the Photography God's where smiling-I just took one shot-then the battery died. I had no idea of my camera settings, I had no idea what was going to be in focus. I had to wait till I got home-change out the battery and download all of my images. I doubt that I will ever be fortunate enough to ever capture such an image ever again. Thanks Photography Gods.
This was a good friend of mines daughter. The wedding was absolutely one of thee most elegant, simply beautiful weddings I have ever had the fortune to attend. The Bride exuded joy, her smile never faded.

I could not believe my luck at getting the shot. I saw everyone surrounded the couple  as they started to  dance-me being only 5 foot nothing did not even stand a chance at getting an image. Then I ran for the stairs and hung off the balcony. I had no time to change lens, I would of preferred to of had my zoom lens, all I had on the camera was my little 50mm-it would have to do. I thought I had got just a mediocre image. On the way home, I looked at my images in the camera-could hardly contain myself-I knew I had something special. I caught a brief moment in time.  The way they are looking at one another-the way the movement of the dress makes it look like she is floating. I'll never be able to replicate such an image-One of my top 10 images. Thanks to the Photography Gods.

Daughter and Dad. Lovely Family. The love that they have for each other comes through this image.
