Santorini 2008. Look at the Album "Greece for more images.

Friday, September 23, 2016

Sooo. I took a short trip to the Biltmore (200 miles plus 7 mile traffic jam. My objective was to get an image with a reflection in water. Would I take the time and effort again--you betcha.
Santorini 2008. See Greece Album for more image. Plus all of the images from Greece were taken with my little Canon Powershot -point and shoot.

Portofino

Wabi Sabi. Beautiful old truck,

Inside the Hangar at Morristown International Airport. Well sort of International??

Followed this guy as he took off and landed about 6 times. Although this looks like the image is taken from another plane, I am actually still on the ground. He was only just clearing the tree line.

Little old bike, outside of the Florist in Dandridge, TN

Knoxville TN

What a lovely Od Chap. No idea what make or Model, but a beauty all the same.

Black Oak Marina, Jefferson City TN.

Tried a new technique on my Camera, used AV mode and AI Focus, enabling me to capture something in motion, yet still get the clarity.

Wabi Sabi, what is old or broken, is still beautiful.

Couldn't resist these Wasp like School Busses.

Little Red Boat, Portofino Italy.

Image from inside of the Hangar at Morristown International Airport.
Wabi Sabi ~ The art of seeing something dead, died or broken and still see beauty in it.
This is one of my all time favorites. On my excursion to Morristown Airport. This guy would fly around, land and take off again, perfect!! I could gauge where he was going to land and then where I needed to be to catch him in the air. Although this looks like the shot was taken from another plane, I was most certainly still on the ground, the plane was only 20-25 feet in the air, he had only just cleared the tree line.
Just a little Red Boat, bobbing along in Portofinp Italy, Spring 2016
Little Old Dandridge bicycle outside of the Florist.
If I have to explain this to you~you need help.

Black Oak Marina. Jefferson City, Tennessee.

A little whimsy. This is the underside of a Hay Aerator, just loved the patterns.
Over in Bulls Gap, Tennessee is a little run down almost ghost town where Archie Bunker lived. I was over there taking shots of some lovely old buildings, when this monster thundered through town. There must of been 150 rail cars.
 Again Black Oak Marina
Wabi Sabi, something old is beautiful again.

Welcome

Welcome to my Photography Blog.
The majority of my images are shot with my Canon Rebel T3i-she's my dream (otherwise known as Annie-if you don't know who Annie Liebovitz is--google it). I have used a variety of lenses. 70-200mm zoom, 50mm (Nifty Fifty), 18-135mm or my latest baby, 18-300mm super zoom.
Almost all of my shot are shot in manual mode, they are all my own work.
To the right you will see a navigation bar, simply click on which page you would like to view.
I shall be updating images periodically.
Took this image with my Canon Powershot. I shot the image through a crack in the patio doors, for fear that I would scare him off.

This is a simple Thistle. As part of one of my Photography Challenge Groups, we had to shoot directly into the sun, and get some transparency through the object. I had loads of grandiose ideas--birds in flight, leaves on trees etc. But opted for the lowly Thistle.
Sometimes I will post a new image or update an Album.
This Rolls Royce is immaculate. Not far from home we have a Collision Center. This beauty is simply one of the owners personal collection. It's amazing, you open the doors and the Old Car Leather smell just hits you. I had to take the image with my cell phone-left the camera at home.
